Homemade Strawberry Fruit Soup (Kisiel)

  • 1/2 pound strawberries
  • 2 cups water
  • two tablespoons sugar
  • two tablespoons potato starch
  • half of a lemon (juice)


Wash and cut strawberries, put into blender, add cold water with sugar and blend together. Take 1/2 cup of the blended strawberries and add the potato starch. Pour the rest of the blended strawberries into a stockpot and bring to a boil. Stir while boiling for 2 minutes until the jelly thickens. Add some fresh strawberry slices and serve.
